Job Title: Launch Assistant

Job Summary:

World Learning seeks a Launch Assistant to support the preparation and implementation of the IHP Health and Community program by serving as a field-based assistant to the Launch Coordinator for its approximately 10-day long program launch.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in program preparation and implementation.
Provide administrative and logistical support to the Launch Coordinator and Program Director.
Coordinate with Launch Coordinator on vendor relationships, logistics, and meals for all segments of the US launch.
Provide program pertinent information to Program Team for travel and logistics management.
Assist in day-to-day Program Management.
Work collaboratively on a Program Team including Program Director, Program Manager, Visiting Faculty, and Launch Coordinator to help ensure delivery of a high-quality educational program for students.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with two years of related work experience.
Understanding of experiential education and youth empowerment pedagogies.
Experience with international programs, event management, or youth programming.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
Computer proficient and comfortable with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), cloud-based document management, and online project management tools.
Team-oriented and collaborative work style with ability to independently handle tasks and deadlines.
Has a DEI Mindset: Fosters diverse, equitable and inclusive practices and challenges practices which may be exclusionary.
