The Center for Climate and Energy Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Energy Transition Accelerator Coordinator to support the development, launch, and ongoing successful operation of the Energy Transition Accelerator Coalition.

The Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to securing a safe and stable climate by accelerating the transition to a thriving, just, and resilient low-carbon economy.
About the Energy Transition Accelerator
The Energy Transition Accelerator (ETA) is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State, The Rockefeller Foundation, and the Bezos Earth Fund to catalyze private capital, including through voluntary carbon markets, to accelerate the transition from dirty to clean power in emerging and developing economies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the ETA Secretariat team in maintaining workplans, taking notes, and recording decisions.
- Arrange and support stakeholder consultations to gather broad perspectives and expertise.
- Prepare slide decks, background documents, and other materials for internal and external ETA calls.
- Coordinate ETA engagement with countries and companies, including scheduling and tracking bilateral outreach.
- Contribute to the development of key ETA elements, such as estimating the potential supply and demand of ETA credits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1-2 years of relevant experience, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong writing, research, and analytic skills, including proficiency in compiling and analyzing publicly available data.
- Aptitude for assembling cogent, concise, and compelling briefings, slide decks, and other presentation materials.
- Broad familiarity with and interest in relevant topics in climate policy, such as carbon markets, electric power sector decarbonization, and/or climate finance.
