Position Overview:

The Chief Officer of Clinical Excellence will serve as the national clinical authority responsible for establishing clinical standards, pathways, educational initiatives, and feedback mechanisms that promote evidence-based practices and clinical excellence in senior primary care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement national clinical pathways, prioritizing key health conditions and establishing a structured approach to pathway development and clinical education.

2. Oversee the creation of a national clinician education program, collaborating with a medical director of clinical education and the educator team.

3. Manage specialty care program development and clinical excellence initiatives, supporting specialty care leaders as necessary.

4. Lead the integration of HEDIS and HCC-related opportunities into clinical pathways and educational programs to enhance clinical effectiveness.

5. Drive the creation of clinical outcome metrics and feedback mechanisms for primary care providers and regional clinical leaders, utilizing data insights and clinical audits to foster continuous improvement.

6. Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and regional leaders to define clinical priorities, develop programs, and enhance the consistency of clinical practices among primary care clinicians.

7. Act as the national leader for the Quality and Clinical Excellence committee.

Qualifications:

We seek a highly credible clinical leader with proven experience in primary care, education, and program development, capable of influencing clinical outcomes positively. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of advanced, evidence-based primary care practices and clinical standards, particularly in managing senior health issues.
