Job Summary:

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our Accounting and Finance Team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining and balancing our automated consolidation system, preparing and maintaining financial records and reports, and reconciling bank accounts monthly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system by inputting data and verifying data accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records and reports, including general ledger entries and accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank accounts monthly and analyze information to develop spreadsheet reports and verify information.
  • Provide accounting support by reviewing financial information, converting data to a general ledger system, and obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
  • Protect the organization's value by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least three years of related experience.
  • Experience with QuickBooks online/desktop.
  • Previous Banking or Financial Services industry experience is a plus.
