Activity Aide Job Summary:

At Arcadia Care, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Aide to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and charting for the daily activity programs & quality assurance for the Activities Department.

• Prepare and clean up activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.

• Oversee residents' engagement in scheduled and unscheduled activities to promote their physical, social, and mental well-being.

Requirements:

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department

• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm

• Ability to handle residents based on their maturity level

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
