Director of Therapy Operations

ClearSky Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Therapy Operations. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the therapy department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing a team of therapy professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Department Leadership: Direct the functions of the therapy department, develop and implement policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Staff Management: Oversee staffing, retention, and development of therapy personnel, including coaching, discipline, and performance evaluations.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and manage the annual budget for the therapy department, monitor expenses, and work with management staff to resolve issues with third-party payers.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with senior leadership and interdepartmental teams to integrate therapy services with the total patient's healthcare plan, participate in performance improvement processes, and monitor patient outcomes.
  • Additional Responsibilities: May be required to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years' experience in a hospital therapy management level position is required.
  • Education: Masters' degree or working towards completion is strongly preferred.
  • Certifications: Current CPR Certification is required.
  • Driving Record: Must maintain an acceptable driving record, current driver's license, and insurability.
