Service Operations Manager - Specialty RV Sales

As the Service Operations Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our service department, providing guidance, leadership, and expertise to both customers and your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily one-on-one meetings with each Assistant Service Manager to identify and address potential service challenges.
  • Oversee automotive repair and maintenance processes to prevent any operational interruptions.
  • Collaborate with the Service Director to establish departmental goals and objectives.
  • Recruit, interview, and train service personnel to build a strong team.
  • Maintain accurate daily sales and production records as directed by upper management.
  • Review and assess service sales performance regularly.
  • Allocate technical teams based on production needs.
  • Stay updated on new products and modifications to existing offerings.
  • Manage department finances within the guidelines set by upper management.
  • Ensure efficient repair-order flow to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor and control all warranty activities to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Follow dealership policies regarding vehicle care and operation.
  • Administer payroll for service staff in coordination with the payroll department, securing necessary approvals.
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and procedures.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for team members.
  • Engage in operational planning initiatives.
  • Maintain the facility and equipment to uphold service standards.
  • Lead weekly department meetings and participate in managerial meetings.
Qualifications

A minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 2 to 4 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience that meets these criteria.
