Job Summary

Area Wide Protective (AWP) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Traffic Control Flagger to join our team. As a Traffic Control Flagger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients and the general public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Maintain Safe Work Zones: Utilize proper equipment to establish and maintain safe work zones, ensuring the safety of all individuals involved.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the safety of all individuals, including clients and the general public.
  • Manage Traffic Flow: Effectively manage traffic flow using stop/slow paddles, ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide exceptional service and protection to our clients, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Participate in Continuous Training: Participate in continuous training and development opportunities to advance your skills and knowledge, and to progress from an entry-level position to long-term career opportunities.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand for 8-12 hours a day and lift 50-60 pounds.
  • Weather Conditions: Be willing to work in various weather conditions and traffic settings.
  • Driving Experience: Possess experience driving.
  • Pre-Employment Screenings: Pass pre-employment screenings, including a drug test.
