Key Responsibilities:

  • Chart Review: Perform both retrospective and prospective analyses to guarantee accurate coding.
  • Code Verification: Ensure that diagnosis codes are precise, comprehensive, and well-documented.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Provider Education Consultants to identify trends and enhance coding methodologies.
  • Mentorship: Support junior team members and engage in process enhancement initiatives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about changes in regulations to ensure our practices align with current standards.

Qualifications:

  • CPC Certification: Mandatory.
  • Experience: Knowledge of risk adjustment and CMS HCC categories is advantageous.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong communication abilities and a cooperative mindset.

Compensation: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
