About the Job

As a Center Medical Specialist at Grifols, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of donors and staff at our plasma donation centers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing physical examinations and establishing medical histories to determine donor suitability
  • Building rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring donor and staff confidentiality
  • Providing donor education regarding general health and counseling on unacceptable test results
  • Evaluating and managing donor injuries and adverse events
  • Performing evaluations of any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability
  • Assisting in employee training and administering the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or Emergency Medical Technician. Current CPR certification is also required.
