Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary contact between the pharmacy, patients, and healthcare providers.
2. Clearly communicate the range of services and programs offered to both patients and medical staff.
3. Engage with patients regarding their prescription refills and address any medication-related inquiries by referring them to licensed healthcare professionals.
4. Manage the scheduling of prescription refills using our pharmacy management software.
5. Assist in the prior authorization process for medications.
6. Guide underinsured or uninsured patients to suitable assistance programs and support them through the application process.
7. Utilize various operational systems and tools to enhance patient therapy management and refill adherence.
Qualifications:
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician License is required.
- A Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License must be obtained before the expiration of the current license or as mandated by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy.
- Proficiency in standard workplace software and information management applications is essential.
