Ophthalmic Clinical Support Specialist

As a key member of the ophthalmology team at LifeBridge Health, the Ophthalmic Clinical Support Specialist will provide vital support to physicians in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities include scribing, obtaining patient histories, and documenting pertinent ocular findings. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist physicians with patient care and documentation
• Obtain patient histories and chief complaints
• Perform diagnostic testing and document findings
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic employment skills and knowledge of medical terminology
• American Heart Association CPR certification
• COA certification preferred or must be obtained within 18 months
