We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Master Planner (Military Activities). This role is essential in supporting the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) with a focus on the integration and synchronization of Department of Defense (DoD) military operations aligned with U.S. Government (USG) strategies.

The Master Planner will be responsible for formulating strategic inputs, campaign plans, and operational concepts that translate overarching objectives into actionable tasks, collaborating with various DoD components, USG agencies, allies, coalition partners, and regional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the planning and execution of all task orders.
  • Provide analytical insights, recommendations, and draft documentation for review by Joint Planning Teams (JPT) and working groups.
  • Assist in the development of orders, assessments, and briefings for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support evaluations and recommendations to respective divisions and branches during joint combatant command planning efforts.
  • Deliver subject matter expertise in the Joint Operational Planning Process, including Mission Analysis, Course of Action (COA) Development, and COA Comparison.
  • Facilitate the transition of plans to execution teams, ensuring clarity and situational awareness for leadership.
  • Coordinate across various groups and partners to support planning activities, meetings, and conferences.
  • Contribute to the management of working groups by preparing reports and conducting research to assess the long-term implications of operational processes.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in joint strategic planning.
  • Graduate of recognized military advanced programs or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant planning experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience at a Geographic or Functional Combatant Command Headquarters.
  • Possession of a Master’s Degree.
  • Prior experience with USCENTCOM is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Eligibility for Top Secret/SCI clearance.
