The Senior HRIS Analyst plays a pivotal role in delivering effective HR system solutions by comprehensively understanding user requirements, gathering and formulating business specifications, and supporting the technical design, development, testing, and implementation processes.
The Senior HRIS Analyst will collaborate with various HR departments to identify technology needs that align with organizational objectives and convert those needs into actionable project plans and HR system solutions.Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior HRIS Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and optimizing the company’s HRIS landscape, including all relevant integrated and non-integrated systems.
- Providing recommendations to enhance the functionality and efficiency of HR systems.
- Leading the implementation of upgrades and modifications from associated vendors.
- Managing release processes effectively.
- Ensuring HRIS functionality aligns with user requirements.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather business specifications.
- Evaluating change requests, analyzing their impact on the overall system, and prioritizing approved modifications.
- Offering Tier 2 support for HCM issues as they arise.
- Configuring Workday and documenting HCM-related changes and processes.
- Partnering with team leads and HRIS colleagues on HCM projects.
- Coordinating with third-party resources to facilitate project implementations.
- Creating and updating system documentation and communicating modifications and upgrades.
- Conducting periodic system audits and collaborating with users for necessary corrections.
- Engaging with the Workday Community to stay informed about current and future enhancements.
- Assessing releases and functionalities to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Utilizing Panasonic's Data Management & Security Protocols to safeguard and manage data.
- Collaborating with the Analytics and Reporting team to execute data queries.
- Adhering to proper procedures to ensure compliance with Panasonic policies and data management protocols.
- Following change management processes to maintain quality and consistency across all systems.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in HRIS.
- Experience in configuring and implementing various modules within Workday cloud applications.
- Workday certification or other relevant system certifications preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on data analysis and sound recommendations.
- Proven capability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in team settings.
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Capacity to manage confidential information responsibly.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience working in cross-functional, geographically diverse teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to lead or work autonomously.
Communication Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and confidence with peers and leadership.
