Role Overview

As a Behavior Support Technician, you will utilize the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to deliver tailored behavioral support services in various settings, including homes and community environments. This role allows you to express your creativity and individuality while implementing personalized treatment plans.

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A strong dedication to excellence and a commitment to serving others.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, such as in childcare or educational roles.
  • Relevant educational background in fields like Psychology, Education, or Social Work.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, and are at least 18 years old.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.
  • Availability to work evenings and after school hours, as client sessions typically occur during these times.
  • Willingness to start in a part-time capacity as you build your caseload.
  • Proficiency in using technology for documentation and administrative tasks.

Core Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients through play, laughter, and nurturing interactions to make learning enjoyable.
  • Support the ongoing development and success of our young clients by focusing on their unique strengths and needs.
  • Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans in both home and community settings.
  • Collect and record data as outlined in treatment plans using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
  • Assist families and caregivers in applying new skills to support their children.
