About the Investment Banking Summer Associate Program

Wells Fargo is seeking talented individuals to join the 2025 Investment Banking Summer Associate Program. This program provides an in-depth understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities of a full-time investment banker, offering a comprehensive professional and educational experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain models to depict projected financial results and to value companies
  • Support various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
  • Perform comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
  • Prepare presentations and other materials for clients
  • Conduct research, participate in strategic planning, and assist in the execution of advisory services
  • Participate in client meetings, due diligence visits, and other client interactions to gain exposure to key executives and senior bankers
  • Develop and mentor junior talent
Requirements
  • 2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities through one or more of the following: volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad program(s), leadership position(s), non-profit involvement

Location

Summer associate opportunities are available in Charlotte and New York, with limited opportunities in Houston, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.

Pay Range

$175,000 Yearly

This position may be subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
