Job Title: Budget Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Budget Analyst to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing detailed and strategic financial analysis to support our company's financial decision-making process.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage our company's budget, including the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Analyze monthly department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls.
  • Consult with managers to ensure that budget adjustments are made in accordance with program changes.
  • Provide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation.
  • Review operating budgets to analyze trends affecting budget needs.
  • Conduct regular budget reviews and present findings to upper management.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor spending and make recommendations for cost control measures.
  • Track cash flow and maintain ledger records.
  • Work closely with the treasury team to manage company funds and forecast future financial scenarios.
  • Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
  • Provide detailed reports about company expenses and develop strategies to minimize costs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a budgeting role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in budget development, financial analysis, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and databases.
  • Exceptional knowledge of budget forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
  • Deep understanding of ledger management and treasury operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data in an understandable manner.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
