Overview

We offer a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Level II Trauma center, serving as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. Our diverse medical team represents over 30 specialties, and we are proud to provide comprehensive care to patients from all walks of life.

About the Role

As a Senior Pulmonologist with Critical Care expertise, you will play a key role in managing the majority of care in our 22-bed Critical Care Unit (CCU). You will also contribute to outpatient clinic services, inpatient consults, and procedures. We offer a supportive environment that prioritizes quality care, allowing you to focus on interacting with patients and their families.

Work Schedule and Benefits
  • Monday through Sunday; 1 week on/1 week off; self-scheduling
  • Rotating between CCU coverage and managing patients in our Pulmonary Medicine Clinic
  • Approximately 25% night shifts

We provide a competitive salary range of $400,000 - $600,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited fellowship in Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine
  • BC/BE in Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine
