This is an exciting opportunity to join the State of Alaska as a Human Resource Technician 2, working within our Finance Division.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to perform data entry and verification tasks related to employer and employee deductions and charges in our Integrated Resource Information System (IRIS) and Human Resource Module (HRM).

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $**$45,161 - $66,453 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing data entry and verification tasks related to employer and employee deductions and charges;
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in IRIS and HRM;
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers;
- Working collaboratively with other teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of six months of entry-level technical experience in human resource work equivalent to a Human Resource Technician 1 with the State of Alaska or the equivalent elsewhere;
- Attention to detail, oral and written communication skills, and customer service skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
