Position Title: Parts Logistics Specialist

Employment Status: Non-Exempt

Hourly Compensation Range: $18 - $23


Role Summary
Ensure the availability of components required for repairs or collaborate with the Procurement Department to acquire necessary items.


Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Examine each service request for accurate components.
  • Collect parts necessary for service work orders.
  • Monitor and return defective items to suppliers for reimbursement.
  • Organize completed service orders and returned supplier documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience in the manufactured housing sector is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.

While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; utilize hands for handling or feeling; reach with hands and arms; and communicate verbally or audibly. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision capabilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While fulfilling the duties of this role, the employee will work at a rapid pace within a production setting. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical components. The employee may encounter high, precarious locations and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; outdoor weather conditions; and risks associated with electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
