Job Summary

As a Sales Development Representative at Airgas, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue expansion in the assigned region. You will be responsible for developing and executing market/business plans, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute market/business plans to drive sales growth and revenue expansion in the assigned region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through effective communication, assessment of customer needs, and recommendations of solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including end-users and decision-makers, to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Perform onsite equipment demonstrations to showcase products and services, and provide technical support as needed.
  • Develop long-term supply relationships through contracts and/or agreements, and ensure timely and accurate submission of sales call reports and expenses.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings and trade shows to promote products and services.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads based on information from newspapers, business directories, trade journals, and other sources.
Requirements
  • Ability to develop and execute market/business plans to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
  • Proven ability to develop new accounts and new business opportunities through effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • High-quality presentation and negotiating skills to effectively communicate with customers and close deals.
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds, and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Computer skills to produce effective spreadsheets, reports, documents, and presentations, as required, including knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Dynamics CRM applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% of the time, and work well in a fast-paced sales environment.
