About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Braintrust Tutors. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound sales activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach to introduce potential clients to Braintrust Tutors' services.
  • Research and identify potential leads within school districts.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining their alignment with Braintrust Tutors' services.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to develop and implement sales strategies and to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and lead data in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure effective lead generation and follow-up on marketing campaigns.
  • Provide timely feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in educational technology and the tutoring industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales development or inside sales role in the education sector or with educational technology products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone and via email.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient with CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for education and technology, with a desire to make a positive impact on student learning outcomes.
