About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Psychiatry Support Specialist to join our team at New Directions Mental Health. As a key member of our interventional services team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional direct client care using innovative technology to assist clients in overcoming their life-long struggles with depression, anxiety, and OCD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer TMS Treatments: Administer Transcranial Magnetic Simulation Therapy (TMS) treatments following physician protocols, prioritizing client comfort and safety.
  • Client Support and Care: Provide compassionate support to clients with depression and other disorders, demonstrating effective communication skills and delivering excellent client care.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Perform psychiatric rating scales, document outcomes, and report potential adverse events to the physician.
  • Client Scheduling and Management: Schedule and manage client appointments, adapting to their needs and making necessary adjustments.
  • Client Intake and Preparation: Assist with client intake, preparation, and support for various treatments, including vitals, care coordination, and insurance verification.
  • Superbill Documentation: Accurately record client information and session notes, completing superbill documentation promptly.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with interventional psychiatry vendors for seamless coordination and provide support and treatment coverage at all our interventional service sites.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • Experience: 1 or more years of medical office experience (Preferred); Medical Assistant (Preferred)
  • Certifications: Completion of TMS Certification during training; Knowledge of medical terminology; CPR Certified (or willing to get certification)
  • Skills: Knowledge of medical authorizations; Understanding and compliance with HIPAA
