POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Sales Representative plays a vital role in assisting Management to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment. Our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Achieving Sales Goals:
  • Utilizes effective sales techniques and shares product knowledge to meet company sales targets; assists customers in selecting merchandise that aligns with their needs and preferences.
  • Stays informed about current promotions and pricing; upholds visual merchandising standards.
  • Ensures compliance with merchandise handling, presentation, and loss prevention protocols as directed by Management.
  • Contributes to visual merchandising efforts, including monthly store layouts and maintaining organized zones.

Enhancing Customer Experience:
  • Embodies and promotes the principles of Outstanding Personal Service (OPS), ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Addresses customer inquiries and resolves concerns promptly.
  • Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, coupon usage, returns, exchanges, and security measures.
  • Encourages additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales.
  • Enlists clients in the rewards program.
  • Builds and nurtures a loyal customer base through personalized service and styling advice.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product fit and style offerings available in-store and online.
  • Utilizes a customer book to ensure consistent communication with clients.

Operational Excellence:
  • Assists in replenishment activities to keep the store well-stocked and inviting.
  • Supports order fulfillment processes.
  • Participates in visual merchandising initiatives, including floor setups, window displays, and signage placement as instructed.
  • Contributes to maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

Collaboration and Development:
  • Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Seeks opportunities for personal growth and actively requests feedback.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Able to learn and adapt to company-provided technology.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication with customers, team members, and Management.
  • Regular attendance is crucial for this role to meet company objectives; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Frequent walking and standing throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of an 8-hour shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34%-66% of an 8-hour shift).
