POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Sales Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting Management to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, ensuring that our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store operations, focusing on exceptional customer experiences and optimal profitability.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Achieving Results:
  • Sets and communicates clear expectations, holding both the store team and themselves accountable for meeting all brand, performance, and conduct standards.
  • Oversees essential operational tasks such as opening and closing procedures, and merchandise flow management.
  • Supervises team members involved in sales, inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
  • Utilizes weekly schedules to ensure adequate floor coverage while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
  • Maintains awareness of current sales initiatives and promotions; presents and displays merchandise according to established standards.
  • Fosters a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to achieve assigned sales and productivity targets.
  • Trains and mentors the team to ensure proficiency in product knowledge both online and in-store.
  • Assists with product fulfillment and sales processes.

Building High-Performing Teams:
  • Inspires and motivates the store team, promoting a shared vision while exemplifying core values.
  • Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Communicates effectively with store teams and Management to drive positive change.
  • Seeks personal development opportunities and actively requests feedback to enhance leadership skills.

Enhancing Customer Experience:
  • Models, teaches, and promotes exceptional customer service principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Demonstrates sales expectations by employing various techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assists in merchandise selection based on customer needs.
  • Builds and nurtures a loyal customer base through personalized service.
  • Ensures timely resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Facilitates a smooth and efficient checkout experience, staying informed on policies regarding payments, returns, and exchanges.
  • Ensures the team maintains consistent communication with clients through customer engagement initiatives.

Talent Development:
  • Supports and implements training programs and initiatives.
  • Assists in the growth of store associates; interprets performance metrics and provides coaching as necessary.
  • Recognizes and rewards team members for exceptional performance.
  • Ensures compliance with all employment practices and policies.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in retail or sales management preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Able to adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Knowledge of administrative aspects of retail operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives; flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent climbing as needed.
