Job Title: Senior Accountant

Dark Wolf Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our headquarters team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to ensure the successful execution of government contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and organized financial data and documentation related to government contracts.
    • Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Customer Invoicing:
    • Review and submit accurate and timely invoices to clients in accordance with contract terms and requirements.
    • Process payments received from customers, applying payments to the appropriate invoices, and recording transactions in the financial system.
  • Project Control and Contract Management:
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of project budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government contract regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Collaborate with program managers, contracts, and finance team to provide financial analysis and related recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in the DoD or Financial sectors.
  • Experience with government contractor financial reporting and appropriate ERP systems (experience with Unanet preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (Excel, financial software, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic government contracting environment.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Unanet experience and/or certifications.
  • Knowledge of government contract regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
