About the Opportunity

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid position that offers a great work-life balance.

Responsibilities
  • Support the monthly revenue review process by inputting abstract flow charts into the system and handling amendments and cancellations.
  • Work as part of a team of three people to provide support for this type of work.
  • Complete ad hoc tasks and projects as requested by the team.
Requirements
  • 2-5+ years of experience in a corporate accounting environment.
  • Degree required.
  • Must understand revenue recognition and be knowledgeable in US GAAP.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Previous international intercompany accounting experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Previous foreign currency experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Previous public accounting experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Previous NetSuite experience is a plus, but not required, as long as you have ERP system experience.
  • Previous experience reading revenue contracts is a plus.
  • PowerBI will be used, and the client can train you on this if needed.
