Industrial Sales Professional

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a skilled Industrial Field Sales Representative to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and professionals in the OTC products and services space.
- Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to identify solutions, conduct product presentations and demonstrations, and build lasting relationships with customers and vendors.
- Perform equipment failure analyses, manage performance improvement programs, and provide start-up service and support when needed.
- Strengthen connections through customer engagement and joint sales calls, while maintaining a deep knowledge of industry standards and products.
- Five years of industrial technology sales experience or a minimum of two years of experience in compressed air equipment sales with a college degree preferred.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (Selltis a plus).
- Valid drivers' license with clean driving record.
- Influential customer service skills with a talent for building relationships; Customer-centric focus (internal and external customers).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
- Accomplished at working both independently and as an active team member.
- Comfortable making cold calls and engaging in conversations utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude including an understanding of rotating equipment, fabrication/manufacturing of equipment and machine shop processes preferred.
- Ability to interpret industry standards and engineering specifications (API and ASME).
