Role Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer orders and MRP to formulate production schedules utilizing SAP and Excel.
  • Create and uphold production timelines to guarantee efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Organize production activities to maintain appropriate work-in-progress and finished goods inventories, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Oversee the integration of engineering modifications and new product introductions to reduce waste.
  • Allocate sufficient time for special production tasks, maintenance periods, and other significant events.
  • Assess resource constraints such as materials, equipment, and labor to pinpoint potential production delays.
  • Update and manage SAP Master data to facilitate customer orders, including safety stock levels and order quantities.
  • Collaborate with various departments including Sales, Program Management, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service.
  • Monitor production workflows to ensure compliance with schedules and address any delays.
  • Engage in training with existing schedulers to enhance understanding of current practices and improve scheduling efficiency.
  • Develop process maps and decision-making tools to streamline operations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate degree in business management or equivalent experience in production scheduling.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience with SAP scheduling is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Proficient in Excel and other office software, with excellent communication abilities. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and schedules to meet customer demands. Professional demeanor and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
