Job Overview

As a Manufacturing Scheduler, you will be responsible for reviewing customer orders and utilizing MRP systems to create effective production timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze customer demands and MRP data to establish production schedules using SAP and Excel.
  2. Develop and sustain production timelines to guarantee optimal manufacturing efficiency.
  3. Organize production activities to maintain appropriate levels of Work In Progress (WIP) and Finished Goods (FG) inventory, ensuring timely deliveries.
  4. Oversee the transition of engineering modifications and new product introductions to reduce the risk of obsolescence.
  5. Allocate sufficient time for special production activities, including sample runs and maintenance periods.
  6. Assess resource constraints, such as materials, equipment, workforce, and container availability, to pinpoint potential production bottlenecks.

Data Management:

Maintain and adjust SAP Master data to support customer requirements, including product lifecycle management, safety stock levels, and order specifications.


Collaboration:

Engage with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Program Management, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service, to ensure alignment and efficiency.


Process Monitoring:

Continuously monitor production activities to ensure compliance with established schedules and proactively identify any delays.


Training and Development:

Work alongside the current scheduler to gain insights into existing scheduling practices, aiming to refine and enhance the overall scheduling process.


Process Improvement:

Develop process maps and decision-making tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
