Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer orders and MRP to create effective schedules using SAP and Excel.
  • Establish and uphold production timelines to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Coordinate production activities to maintain appropriate levels of work-in-progress and finished goods inventory, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Oversee the transition of engineering modifications and new product introductions to reduce waste.
  • Allocate sufficient time for special production tasks, maintenance periods, and other operational events.
  • Assess resource constraints, including materials, equipment, and labor, to pinpoint potential delays.
  • Update and manage SAP Master data to facilitate customer orders, including lifecycle management and inventory parameters.
  • Collaborate with various departments such as Sales, Program Management, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service.
  • Monitor production workflows to ensure compliance with schedules and address any disruptions.
  • Engage in training with the current scheduler to gain insights into existing processes, aiming to enhance scheduling efficiency.
  • Create process maps and decision-making tools to streamline operations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate degree in business management or equivalent experience in production scheduling (3-5 years).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience with SAP scheduling.
  • Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, and computerized order processing systems. Strong communication skills for internal and external interactions. Comprehensive understanding of technical process limitations. Ability to analyze data and schedules to meet customer demands. Professional demeanor and effective prioritization skills. Capable of developing innovative solutions daily.
