Job Description

  • Review customer releases and MRP to develop schedules in SAP/Excel
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations in X4
  • Schedule production to ensure proper WIP & FG inventories to support on time shipments and avoid expedites
  • Manage phase in/phase out of engineering changes and new products to minimize obsolescence
  • Schedule adequate time to accomplish; special production runs (Samples/Tool runs), maintenance downtimes, and other events
  • Evaluate limitations in resources such as materials, equipment, manpower, and container availability to identify potential bottlenecks
  • Maintain/modify SAP Master data to support customer orders, including Beginning and End of Life programs, safety stock levels, minimum and maximum order quantities, order multiples, etc.
  • Work with cross functional teams to include Sales, Program Management, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Service
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to schedules and identify delays
  • Train with current scheduler to understand existing practices and procedures, with a goal of refining and enhancing the scheduling process
  • Develop process maps and decision tools
Qualifications

  • Education required:  2-year degree in business management or 3-5 years’ experience in production scheduling
  • Experience required:  5 years general experience in this field
  • HIGHLY Preferred SAP scheduling experience
  • Specific skills, knowledge and abilities required:  Strong computer skills in excel, word, and a computerized order processing system.  Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers. Thorough understanding of technical process constraints. Ability to analyze number and schedules in order to meet the customer’s demand. Project a professional demeanor at all times.  Ability to prioritize and complete assignments in a time effective manner.  Develops and implements resourceful solutions on a daily basis.
