Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reimbursement Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Insurance Verification:
    • Verify insurance coverage and benefits for mental health services.
    • Process pre-authorizations and check for co-pays, deductibles, and coverage limits.
  • Claims Follow-Up:
    • Submit and track insurance claims to ensure they are processed correctly.
    • Correct errors and resubmit claims as needed.
  • Patient Assistance:
    • Explain insurance benefits and out-of-pocket costs to patients.
    • Address any billing and insurance inquiries from patients.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in insurance verification, claims, or billing.
  • Familiarity with mental health insurance and medical billing.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, based on location and experience.
