Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled claims handler who can investigate and assemble facts, determine policy coverage, evaluate the amount of loss, and analyze legal liability. The ideal candidate will have experience handling multi-line property and casualty claims with an emphasis on property claims, and be familiar with insurance coverage by studying policies, endorsements, and forms.

The successful candidate will provide service to agents, insureds, and others to ensure claims resolve accurately and timely. This includes investigating claims by phone, mail, and on-site investigations, working toward resolution, and attending arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as necessary.

Requirements
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree or direct equivalent experience handling property and casualty claims. A minimum of 3 years of experience handling multi-line property and casualty claims with an emphasis on property claims is preferred. Field claims handling experience is also preferred but not required. Knowledge of Xactimate software is a plus, but not essential.

Successful candidates will have above-average communication skills (written and verbal), ability to resolve complex issues, organize and interpret data, handle multiple assignments, and effectively deal with a diverse group of individuals. They will also be able to accurately deal with mathematical problems, including geometry and financial areas, and possess a valid driver license with a driving record consistent with our underwriting guidelines.
