This position is tailored for a results-oriented professional eager to engage in audit activities, including assessing controls and leveraging data analysis.

This role involves reviewing internal and/or external controls, processes, and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Under the supervision of the Audit supervisor/manager, you will participate in audit assignments within the organization and, in certain instances, collaborate with external auditors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of assigned organizational and functional activities, assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of management controls.
  • Prepare documentation detailing the outcomes of tests and data analytics performed, and with guidance, draft formal audit comments that identify and quantify impacts on business operations.
  • Identify opportunities for enhanced efficiencies and controls, reporting findings to management and making suitable recommendations.
  • Assist in coordinating and executing audit work for external auditors.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through self-directed study and on-the-job training, focusing on preparing for and obtaining professional and industry certifications.
  • Develop expertise in applying relevant auditing techniques and accounting principles.
Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred; or a combination of relevant work experience with an associate degree or education in another discipline.

0-2 years of work experience in a professional setting is required.

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills are essential for success.

An understanding of accounting principles, the necessity for controls, and the significance of ethics in the business environment is advantageous.

Familiarity with data analytics is highly desired.

Coursework aimed at obtaining a professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA) is preferred.

Prior audit experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
