LCB Senior Living is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team. We invite you to explore this rewarding position.

**Part-Time: 3pm - 11pm, 24 hours per week**

**Competitive Compensation: $32/hr - $37/hr based on experience**

Key Responsibilities:

The following duties are essential to the role and reflect the expectations of the position:

  1. Uphold the mission and core values of the organization to residents, families, colleagues, and the community.
  2. Actively engage in promoting community occupancy by positively interacting with prospective residents and their families.
  3. Assist in assessing resident needs and developing service plans in compliance with state regulations.
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of the physiological and psychological changes associated with aging and disabilities.
  5. Supervise and direct the daily activities of resident care associates.
  6. Evaluate resident health concerns and collaborate with the Executive Director, families, and medical professionals as necessary.
  7. Encourage teamwork through effective communication with all departments to enhance service quality.
  8. Monitor compliance with infection control protocols among resident care staff.
  9. Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives.
  10. Provide direct care to residents as needed.
  11. Support resident care associates with inquiries and emergency situations.
  12. Ensure adequate staffing and scheduling, including backup coverage as required.
  13. Oversee the completion and review of incident reports, implementing changes to improve safety and compliance.
  14. Assist with documentation required by the organization and state regulations.
  15. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following regulatory guidelines.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Must maintain good physical and mental health, with the ability to perform tasks requiring dexterity and mobility. This includes lifting at least fifteen (15) pounds, pushing and pulling carts, and maintaining an active presence throughout the facility.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Professional knowledge and skills to assist in planning for the Resident Care Department in accordance with state and federal standards.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Educational Background:

A high school diploma and completion of an accredited Nursing Program are required.

Experience:

A minimum of two years of experience in a geriatric care setting, with prior experience in a hospital or community environment preferred.

Licensure:

Current LPN license in the state of employment is required.
