MobilizeGreen is a leading organization dedicated to developing leaders who share the values of communities impacted by climate change. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Virtual Environmental Leadership Intern.

About the Opportunity

This 8-week paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world project-based learning, soft skills training, and career readiness development. You will be paired with a nonprofit organization and work on projects related to sustainability, environmental justice, community engagement, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to nonprofit partner organizations
  • Complete project duties as assigned
  • Meet all program deadlines
  • Participate in professional development opportunities
  • Prepare reports and program evaluations

Requirements:

  • You must be a rising college junior, senior, or graduate student with a demonstrated interest in or passion for nonprofit management, equity, and environmental justice.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite/Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn information technology and database management systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must have excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects, showing strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
