Job Summary:

Catholic Health Initiatives seeks a skilled Pharmacist Staff FLEX to join our team. As a hospital pharmacist, you will provide leadership in medication-related patient care, ensuring safe and effective drug use, and promoting pharmacy as an essential component of the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a pharmaceutical expert and resource person to promote safe, appropriate, and cost-effective drug utilization.
  • Maintain a proper and adequate inventory of pharmaceutical supplies to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Communicate a comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy and hospital policies and procedures to ensure efficient and integrated departmental function.
  • Monitor and direct all drug usage within the corporation to ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Improvement standards.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and current state and federal pharmacy laws to ensure safe, legal, and uninterrupted health care services.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of Pharmacy School
  • Licensed by the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a hospital pharmacist
