Job Summary

The Historic Boone Tavern Hotel & Restaurant is seeking a skilled Server to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the success of our dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive attentive and personalized service, from greeting them upon arrival to serving their meals and handling payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, presenting menus and specials in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist guests with menu selections, provide recommendations, and answer questions about ingredients and preparation methods.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system, ensuring special requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately, maintaining a neat and tidy dining environment.
• Anticipate guests' needs and provide proactive assistance to enhance their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate the timing of food and beverage service.
• Communicate guest feedback and concerns to the management team to ensure prompt resolution.
• Process guest payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions securely.

Requirements

• Experience as a Server is preferred; must be of legal age if serving alcohol.
• Provide high-level customer service, communicate effectively, and maintain composure when working under pressure.
