Position Summary

As a GUCCI Operations Team Leader, you will oversee the store operations team and the associated processes.

Your role will be crucial in supporting the business by managing an efficient stockroom and maintaining accurate inventory, while prioritizing exceptional client service throughout the selling process.

In this capacity, you will manage daily operations and, as a store leader, collaborate closely with the Store Director and Associate Store Director, demonstrating proficiency in all facets of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Expectations
- Drive and enhance operational excellence across all store dimensions;
- Analyze operations with a commercial perspective and suggest strategic enhancements;
- Train new and existing staff on operational policies and procedures;
- Mentor and develop direct reports in operations, customer service, and sales support;
- Collaborate with corporate departments such as Operations, Inventory Planning, and Accounts Payable as necessary.
Leadership
- Act as a leader for the store team, partnering with the Store Director and Associate Store Director to uphold all operational and service standards established by Gucci;
- Foster a positive and cohesive work environment among all staff;

- Serve as Manager on Duty in rotation, assisting with floor coverage, processing client purchases, and managing store opening and closing procedures.

Operations
- Provide comprehensive support for shipping and receiving processes, reporting any issues to the Store Director and taking necessary corrective actions;
- Ensure timely movement of merchandise as directed by the Store Director, adhering to all procedures and guidelines, including transfers and damages;
- Maintain an accurate and organized store inventory at all times, overseeing cycle counts and scheduled inventories with support from the Store Director;
- Assist management in identifying operational issues and resolving them promptly;
- Keep clear and accurate operational documents and procedures for reference;
- Communicate all discrepancies or issues immediately to management;
- Process repairs and damages promptly according to company guidelines;
- Support the physical maintenance of the boutique;
- Order supplies for the office and store as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of operations experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industries, preferably in a supervisory capacity;
- Bachelor's Degree preferred;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to analyze data, identify business priorities, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Familiarity with technology to utilize internal retail systems and shipping software;
- Assist in training new Operations Team Leaders in other locations and support teams;
- Willingness to travel and assist in store openings, closures, and remodels within the region.
Work Authorization

Salary Range

For individuals assigned to work in California, GUCCI provides a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, considering various factors such as business needs, skill sets, experience, and geographic differentials.

The estimated base salary range is $76,500 USD to $85,000 USD.

Eligible employees may also participate in an employee benefits program and an incentive program, subject to the governing rules.
