Position Summary

As a GUCCI Operations Team Leader, you will be accountable for guiding the store operations team and/or the associated processes.

In this capacity, you will ensure business support by managing an effective stockroom(s) and precise inventory while prioritizing exceptional client service by assisting in the sales process as necessary.

You will oversee daily operations management, and as a store leader, in collaboration with the Store Director and Associate Store Director, you are expected to be adept in all facets of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Expectations
- Propel, direct, and cultivate operational excellence across all store dimensions;
- Analyze and assess operations with a commercial perspective and suggest strategic enhancements;
- Train new and existing personnel on all operational policies and procedures;
- Mentor and develop direct reports in areas of operations, customer service, and sales support;
- Coordinate with corporate departments such as Operations, Inventory Planning, Inventory Control, Accounts Payable, etc., as required.
Leadership
- Act as a leader to the store team, collaborating with the Store Director and Associate Store Director to implement all operational and service standards established by Gucci;
- Foster a positive and cohesive work atmosphere among all staff;

- Function as Manager on Duty in rotation, assist with floor coverage, client purchase processing, and store opening and closing procedures.

Operations
- Provide comprehensive support with the shipping and receiving processes, report any issues to the Store Director, and take necessary actions to resolve them;
- Ensure timely movement of merchandise as directed by the Store Director while adhering to all procedures and guidelines, including but not limited to transfers and damages;
- Maintain an accurate and organized store inventory at all times – oversee store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation with support and guidance from the Store Director;
- Assist management in identifying operational process issues and resolving them promptly;
- Maintain clear and precise operational documents/procedures for reference;
- Communicate all discrepancies/issues immediately to management;
- Process repairs and damages promptly according to company guidelines;
- Assist with the physical upkeep of the boutique;
- Order supplies as necessary for both the office and store.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of operations experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industries, preferably in a supervisory capacity;
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to analyze data, identify business priorities, problem-solve, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Familiarity with technology to utilize internal retail systems and shipping software programs;
- Assist in training new Operations Team Leaders in other locations and support teams;
- Willingness to travel and assist in store openings, closures, and remodels within the region and surrounding markets.
Work Authorization

Salary Range

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, GUCCI provides a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $76,500 USD to $85,000 USD.
