Job Overview

The ISR Operations Planner will provide essential intelligence support to the Space Operations Command (SpOC), facilitating all facets of the Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO) Office. This role encompasses operational planning, ongoing capability deployment, and exercise facilitation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Response Coordination: Develop and deliver comprehensive staff packages in response to Higher Headquarters (HHQ)-initiated Evaluation Request Messages (EReqM) or USSF Evaluation Response Messages (EResM).
  • Exercise Management: Engage in the execution of exercises as part of the IJSTO Office, overseeing and managing SpOC units and space-related events.
  • Compliance Tracking: Monitor and ensure adherence to exercise objectives, scenarios, organizational structures, and campaign plans.
  • Collaborative Support: Assist the IJSTO Office in liaising with Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) and other exercise participants.
  • Operational Security: Provide OPSEC support, including the development, review, and staffing of OPSEC and MILDEC plans for operational and exercise support.
  • Intelligence Representation: Act as an intelligence Subject Matter Expert (SME) at various meetings and forums, contributing to the identification and development of intelligence requirements and processes.
  • Documentation Development: Create, review, and provide feedback on CCMD CONOPS, Orders, OPLAN/CONPLAN Annex S, and other IJSTO products as necessary.
  • Exercise Oversight: Support the SpOC's exercise program by managing and controlling units and events, ensuring compliance through the Lessons Learned process.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as intelligence, space, or systems engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in military planning is essential.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong critical thinking and initiative.
  • Effective communication skills with MAJCOM staff and officers.
  • Experience in coordinating intelligence exercises at the MAJCOM level.
  • Familiarity with classified environments.
  • Understanding of Air Force Instruction interpretation.

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is between $115,000 and $125,000. Sigmatech considers various factors when making an offer, including experience, education, skills, location, and contractual requirements.
