The Help Desk Technician will promote a workplace culture that prioritizes employee well-being through adherence to health and safety best practices, in alignment with our core values of respect, resilience, safety, and collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver first-line technical assistance to users through various communication channels.
  • Diagnose and rectify hardware and software challenges associated with Office 365 applications.
  • Support the configuration, setup, and upkeep of Office 365 accounts and workstations.
  • Work closely with the IT team to escalate intricate issues and guarantee prompt resolutions.
  • Manage user account tasks effectively.
  • Oversee and respond to IT helpdesk requests, ensuring swift resolution and precise documentation.
  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of technical documentation and knowledge base entries.
  • Engage in IT initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Remain informed about industry developments and new technologies.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in providing technical support within an IT helpdesk setting.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Office 365.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service capabilities.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent are advantageous.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Office environment with potential for remote work.
  • Hybrid work model with a combination of on-site and remote responsibilities.
