Job Summary

Crawford & Company is seeking a highly skilled Language Coordinator to join our Claims Resolution team. As a Language Coordinator, you will play a critical role in investigating and resolving complex claims involving network contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyze claims data to determine the best course of action
  • Communicate with client adjusters, contractors, and insured/homeowners to gather information and resolve issues
  • Review and analyze contractor repair estimates to determine scope, pricing, and other factors
  • Research federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements relating to building code and compliance
  • Initiate and handle formal notifications to contractor insurance carriers and/or agents

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, construction, or related discipline
  • ~2 years' experience as Issue Resolution Coordinator I or minimum of two years' work experience in a customer service environment
  • Multi-line adjusting experience with emphasis on property/liability, familiarity with residential and commercial construction, restoration means and methods
  • Ability to analyze and interpret contract terms and conditions
  • Highly proficient and advanced computer skills
