Job Overview & Requirements

Position Summary:

The role involves the installation, maintenance, service, overhaul, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of all heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems across the site. The position supports management in overseeing and coordinating the activities of the HVAC department and its personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizes and assigns work tasks, communicates performance standards, and collaborates with other departments.
  • Upholds company safety protocols, observes productivity and work practices, and leads the initiation and cessation of work activities.
  • Ensures thorough completion of documentation, stays updated on job knowledge, and aids in training initiatives.
  • Maintains and repairs all heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems throughout the site.
  • Actively engages in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Educational Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; Technical school education is preferred.

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of HVAC/R experience in industrial and commercial settings is required.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of HVAC/R experience within the theme park sector.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • A valid Florida Driver's License is essential.
  • Universal EPA Certification is required.
  • A valid Journeyman HVAC License and completion of Lead training classes are necessary.
