Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compensation Coordinator to join our team at Universal Orlando Resort. As a key member of our Workers' Compensation team, you will be responsible for supporting the intake process, gathering initial information from injured Team Members, and answering questions regarding the Workers Compensation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet Team Members and support the intake process by gathering initial information and answering questions.
- Input Employee Intake Forms into Intelex, ensuring accuracy of information.
- Update Workers' Compensation data and generate regular reports to analyze trends and performance.
- Update medical billing information promptly and provide insurance billing information to hospitals and providers in a timely manner.
- Follow up with Team Members regarding recheck appointments on a daily basis and document information on the Open Claims list.
- Provide information to all requests for records from Legal/HR.
- Process all wage statements and requests for payroll records.
- Archive and digitize files based on record retention schedule and employee status.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
Requirements:
- High school degree or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or Data Science/Analytics preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in an office environment with customer service focus; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
