Responsibilities:

  • Implement solutions and perform design modifications to ride and show system equipment on assigned projects.
  • Manage assigned projects from design through installation, including project schedules, testing, training, and budget demands.
  • Prepare scope of work documents for engineering projects and develop and conduct acceptance test procedures.
  • Interface with ride supervisors and managers to resolve problems and design issues.
  • Monitor and interface with vendors/ride manufacturers to resolve problems and design issues.
  • Perform engineering calculations for design, analysis, test, and implementation of mechanical and structural systems.
  • Provide project status updates to senior-level engineers, engineering managers, and/or appropriate ride managers.
  • Maintain configuration management of mechanical and structural documentation.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering or related field required. 3-5 years of demonstrated project engineering experience in mechanical and structural systems in an engineering environment for the development of dynamic motion systems in a theme park industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
