Job Summary:

The Senior Application Engineer – IT Security Operations will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise to support the development and implementation of IT Security Operations in support of Universal Destinations and Experiences (UDX). This role will work closely with NBCU Cyber and partner organizations to enable and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) and InfoSec Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of UDX Identity platforms, middleware integrations, and automation supporting role-based access controls.
  • Mentor technical teams to drive solutions and develop in-depth technical documentation and process training materials.
  • Solve complex technical and integration issues with creative and secure solutions.
  • Identify and communicate key risks and security posture to senior leadership and build effective relationships across UDX business units.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related technical field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience working in a technical area as part of a large team.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience writing and developing with Java and/or other programming languages.
  • Knowledge and basic understanding of HR and Identity platforms.
