Job Summary

This role exercises delegated administrative responsibility and authority for the supervision of all hospital personnel and functions within the assigned work unit/location for assigned shift. Serves as a leader and resource person in facilitating efficient operational activities throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage hospital personnel and functions within the assigned work unit/location
  • Lead and facilitate efficient operational activities throughout the organization
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals
Requirements
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period
  • Previous work experience in a supervisory, management, or other healthcare leadership capacity
  • Two (2) years of experience in an acute care setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's of Nursing preferred
