We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Specialist to join our team at Flexup Direct.

This is a Travel Allied Job opportunity that requires a strong background in sterile processing and medical device management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of medical devices and equipment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of medical devices and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Develop and implement effective procedures for the handling, storage, and disposal of medical devices and equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medical devices and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical device technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CBSPD, CRCST/HSPA)
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in sterile processing and medical device management
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Decontamination experience - Manual, Mechanical, HLD, experience using facilities equipment
  • Assembly experience - Competent in care and handling of facilities medical devices, equipment, and instruments.
  • General instrumentation, Laparoscopic instruments, Flexible endoscope experience.
  • Sterilization experience - Steam & Low Temperature Sterilization. Experience with facility specific equipment.
  • Dental tray assembly experience
  • CER (HSPA) Endoscope Reprocessor Certification – plus
  • CIS (HSPA) or CSIS (CBSPD) Instrument Specialist Certification - plus

  • Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
